Directed all aspects of information security; managed, motivated, developed, and trained Network Monitoring department. Restructured environment to prevent attacks by establishing company-wide security policies and guidelines. Planned and drove security project timelines and projections, including secure design for global e-commerce enterprise. Investigated and addressed risks to information / network security and devised cost-effective prevention and protection strategies for this domain registrar and hosting company.
- First CISO / DS of GoDaddy, reporting directly to the founder.
- Designed physical security of the operation, including controlled biometric access, alarm system, and locks; researched vendors to find most secure and cost-effective solutions to realize specified design.
- Discovered vulnerability in AT&T datacenter access policy and provided documentation on how to prevent it to AT&T internal security management.
- Began first draft of internal security policies
- Created and led cross-functional Incident Response Team (IRT) to handle security issues, investigate incidents, and determine preventive measures for our organization.
