My Year with ChatGPT 2025 | Creativity, Research, and Collaboration

2025 was a year of exploration, creativity, and collaboration for both human and AI. Working alongside ChatGPT, I pushed boundaries across AI, art, cybersecurity, music, post-quantum cryptography (PQC), quantum technology, research, and problem-solving. From crafting the information architecture of the website to designing our band logo and album cover to generating AI-assisted art and creating research papers, this year was about combining curiosity, imagination, and technical skill into tangible, meaningful outcomes.

Much of my work and AI research was serious and deal with mission-critical systemic risks. However, this fun year in review from ChatGPT was a welcome diversion from the depth, while still maintaining a playful look at the core topics.

ChatGPT created this special piece of AI art to symbolize my year working with its system in 2025. On the surface, it appears whimsical, a bit cartoonish, and of course, pixelated. It reminds me of something I would’ve created in my Computer Art course on an Amiga 2600 back in 1994 when I was learning to use a mouse. It’s part of AI’s evolution.

However, this piece of art is not AI slop. Instead, it is a deeply symbolic piece, highly representative of several concepts we covered in depth. The Gremlin plushie was a nice touch.
