Art and science are an unlikely match. Art is the realm of science fiction, while science is the realm of facts and figures. However, where art and science converge, alchemy happens. This is how creative vision is translated from fantasy into reality, the transformation of the base metals of lore and into the gold of truth. This is where science fiction becomes science fact.

That kind of vision helped early humans discover how to make fire to warm their homes, how to build the first airplanes and eventually circumnavigate the globe, and later, to send the first capsule to the moon. Today, we’re looking even further ahead. What wonders will the future hold?
Now, this is not intended to suggest that we can turn lead into gold. However, having a bit of creative vision and optimism can take the mundane and transform it into something spectacular. The impossible becomes possible when we collaborate and spend our time working to improve rather than simply maintain. Although, we must be mindful of maintaining the present and our existing structures while maintaining that forward-looking view.
