Systems Administrator / Technology Support Analyst
Administered Novell 3.11 and Novell 3,12 servers. Provided primary support and training for 100 end-users on Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 98 workstation operating systems, Microsoft Office Professional Suite (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.), Pegasus e-mail, and Microsoft Outlook e-mail.
Provided network administration, desktop support, training, file and print server support, monitoring, troubleshooting, and backup; problem identification, isolation, and resolution; and hardware repair. Recognized by end-users and peers for ability to handle difficult situations and smooth relations.
Key Accomplishments
Systems Failure and Outage
After critical total system and backup failure, Hunter used the Novell command line interface to manually:

- migrate all accounts to a new Novell server
- restore every file in the organization
- reset the file attributes (RASH – read, archive, system, hidden)
- configure the file permissions (ACL – access control lists)
Malware Remediation
Discovered and remediated trojan horse malware that had gone undetected by the antivirus program.
