Subject Matter Expert | IBM Sterling Connect:Direct Secure Plus (Network Data Mover, NDM Secure+)

  • Discovered root cause of critical data transmission failures and ran hands-on tests to develop a remediation strategy.
  • Developed the most secure server and workstation configurations via experimentation and testing.
  • Initiated and authored first official Wells Fargo Network Data Mover (NDM Secure+), and Certificate Wizard documentation. This enabled enterprise administrators to implement encrypted data transmissions between mainframes and distributed systems using enterprise Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) at the optimal cipher strength.
  • Wells Fargo created the Enterprise NDM Support team as a result of Hunter Storm’s work on secure network transmissions between mainframe and distributed systems. The NDM Support Team used Hunter’s documentation and the automation scripts she created in order to support all enterprise customers.
  • The vendor, Sterling, implemented Hunter’s changes into the production version of the product.
